Naked Island is a work that reconstructs a landscape into a single temporal and spatial structure, based on the compositional principles of traditional landscape painting and a panoramic perspective. Photographic collage, painterly composition, symbolic imagery, and contemporary urban landscapes are combined to form a complex topography where the past and present, nature and civilization, are intermingled. In this work, the landscape functions not merely as a background, but as a space where memories, emotions, historical time, and physical sensations overlap. Naked Island became the starting point for expanding the panorama in my subsequent work from an image format into a structure of spatial experience, and it is a key work that opens up the possibility of development into immersive moving images and installations.

〈벌거벗은 섬〉은 전통 산수화의 구성 원리와 파노라마적 시선을 바탕으로, 풍경을 하나의 시간적·공간적 구조로 재구성한 작업이다. 사진 콜라주와 회화적 구성, 상징적 이미지와 동시대 도시 풍경이 결합되며, 과거와 현재, 자연과 문명이 뒤섞인 복합적인 지형이 형성된다. 이 작업에서 풍경은 단순한 배경이 아니라 기억, 감정, 역사적 시간, 신체적 감각이 중첩되는 장으로 작동한다. 〈벌거벗은 섬〉은 이후 나의 작업에서 파노라마를 이미지 형식이 아니라 공간적 경험의 구조로 확장해가는 출발점이 되었으며, 몰입형 무빙 이미지와 설치로의 발전 가능성을 여는 핵심 작업이다.
